The world premiere of L’ultimo viaggio di Sindbad, by Silvia Colasanti, with Luca Micheletti directing The last production of the 2024 season at Opera di Roma will be also the world premiere of the work L’ultimo viaggio di Sindbad, which was commissioned to Silvia Colasanti, and based on the story written by Erri De Luca. Performances from the 16th to the 23rd of October 2024 at Teatro Nazionale, in collaboration with the Romaeuropa Festival. It is the tale of the the last journey of the captain of an old vessel full of men, women and children, that, among biblical echoes and sea legends, becomes the mirror image of one of the great tragedies of our time.
